Can you get expelled for bringing an airsoft gun to school?
So my friend brought an airsoft gun to school, he kept it in his backpack, but somebody snitched on him, and he got in really big trouble, do you think he likely be expelled from school. By the way this is in Virginia Beach City Public School.

Most Airsoft guns are considered replica guns and because they look so real schools will treat you the same as if you had a real gun. Best case scenario, he will get suspended for a few days. He could even be expelled for the rest of the semester or permanently. Worst case scenario, he could even be arrested for bringing a firearm to school. Remember that depending on how real it looks, he may be treated as if he has a real gun. This is a question he should be asking his lawyer.
