Tokyo Marui Aeg Airsoft Guns
In airsoft…?
In airsoft, more specifically high-end AEG’s, I know one can use batteries with higher voltages to increase the gun’s rate of fire, but does that cause any damage to the gun’s internals? Or does it decrease the life of the AEG?
I’m considering getting a Tokyo Marui FAMAS but do not wish to pay hundreds of dollars more to upgrade it. This is one of the recommended batteries for the FAMAS:

Will this battery cause any harm? It says it will fit any AEG that uses an 8.4 large-type battery without any modifications.

lol of course it wotn do any harnm. but the mah is low u should get a higher one. its usually mah is the lifetime and rof of a gun. volts is rof and fps. anyways if u cant fit a battery in it, put it outside, get a external battery puch. i have one for my TM g3 (.25 @ 500fps) also the 9.4 v is good if you want to upgrade slightly on fps, TM fps is 280 u want it around 320 (my opinion) you don need to spend 100s of dolalrs to upgrade get a friend or do it ur self. get a m120 spring and metal bushings and mayb e replace to motor with something better and you get a good accuarte posb 350 fps gun with farther range. oh yea go to evike.com for buying not airsoft advantage
