any tips for building an airsoft team and location for airsoft arena in/near orlando?
I was thinking about making a 5-7 man airsoft team. What soldier classes should the team have, (I’m assault class) and what kind of training should we have? I’m thinking about training us like somewhat of marines, but does any one have tips for that?
Also, for the arena, I remember about an arena named SOCOM thats in melburne, but I’m not sure. Any other locations and names of arenas in florida would be nice. 
you are not going to engage in melee combat.
the basic to indoor AND outdoor airsofting is stamina. keep them jogging. endurance is all you’ll need. if you’re playing outdoors, you should practice proning and crawling across large areas.
INDOORS:
rush, quick decision making (fast reflexes), quickly learning and dissecting the location, and adopting to it. maintain good communication. look every corner. no sniper indoors. mod guns for ROF. all assault with compact, high capacity, high ROF guns. watch behind.
OUTDOORS:
patience. patience wins every game. use the terrain. always stay low. do not be seen first. range is the key. mod guns for range, not ROF. optimum team would be 1-2 sniper, 1-2 support, and the rest assault with modified weapons or low-fps DMRs. divide teams into subgroups, and give a sniper a spotter/support gunner. have radios among groups, you’re going to be spread out over a large area. communication is the key. flanking is always the best tactic, but so is it to the enemy. watch for flanks yourself.
the best way to assemble a team is to find an on-line forum dedicated to airsoft, like airsoftforum.com, arnie’s(this is british, but just setting up an example..), airsoftpost.com, virginiaairsoft.com…etc. start a thread, give it about a month, and you’ll have about as many men as you would want around your area.
