Realistic Metal Gas Airsoft Guns
Gas blowback airsoft?
Hey, im buying a gas airsoft gun but i dont know which to get. The HFC m800 (cougar), the hfc usp, or the WE 1911 i want a realistic gun, looks real, feels real and kicks HARD. I like that the 1911 and m800 are full metal, but the usp is full auto. Which of those would be best for me. Im going to use it as a primary for now so plz quick response! Thanks!!
Gas pistols are all a bit of a compromise, and it’s quite hard to find one that does everything you want it to:
Full metal guns are obviously the most realistic. However, the metal slide is a lot heavier than a plastic slide, so moves slower and more gas is used to power it. This reduces the firepower you can get from a gun, and the large amount of gas used results in power falling rapidly if you fire shots in quick succession (cool down effect). In short, full metal gas guns are great side weapons, but they’re just too inconsistent and unreliable to use as primaries.
Personally I’d recommend this. It’s very high power, very hard kick, and reasonably accurate. Obviously it’s way too big to use as a side arm, but as a pistol primary, it’s quite good.
