Battle Los Angeles: What helmets did the Marines wear?
For airsoft, I really want to get gear based off the Battle: Los Angeles Marine costuming. From some angles, Sergeant Nantz looked like he had a MICH helmet, but on angles such as the Battle: LA cover, it looked more like the PASGT helmet. The Army soldiers seemed to have different helmets too. What helmet(s) did they use to costume the actors in Battle: Los Angeles? If not, what did you think they resemble?
What the Marines wore were MICH 2000 helmets with Ops-Core helmet straps. They also wore NVG mounts that are available for both MICH and PASGT helmets (with the latter’s mounting brackets bent to conform to the flat edge of the helmet). As for the soldiers and Technical Sergeant Santos, they wore regular, unmodified MICH 2000 helmets. Good luck with the loadout. Good luck with the vest though. Those new USMC vests have knock-offs or slightly modified looks going for around $200 at some airsoft stores like Airsoft GI. Best bet if you want the exact look is to get a custom-made vest.
