Mesh Airsoft Masks
Help with buying an mesh airsoft mask?

Im looking for one that covers your whole head though, and, or, one from a website that has free shipping.

Don’t use that mask.
Mesh masks come in two varieties, woven wire and perforated steel. Woven wire masks are dangerous and should be banned. The wires can break, and even when they don’t they can also move in the weave of the mesh, creating holes large enough to allow a BB through.
Perforated steel masks are made from a single sheet of steel with holes pierced into it. A quality mask of this type will not break unless shot repeatedly in one point with an extremely high powered gun at point blank range.
Unfortunately, as with everything else airsoft these days, the Chinese have made cheap copies. These Chinese masks (ACM masks) are made from cheap, thin, low grade steel, and often have holes which are too large. Do not buy one of these if you value your eyesight.
The other issue with mesh masks is BB fragments. Cheap low quality ammo (read 0.12g) can shatter on hard surfaces. It is not unknown for these fragments to pass through a mesh mask (particularly the wire type). If you play with players who use cheap ammo (especially in high powered guns), then don’t use a mesh mask.
Quality ammo and more dense ammo is much less prone to shattering and when it does it tends to split into big pieces rather than small shards. A good perforated steel mask will have holes which are too small for these fragments.
Ultimately, it’s up to you. I (and many other players I know) have been using quality perforated mesh masks for many years without ever seeing a fragment get through (never mind a BB penetrate). It also helps that I wear glasses, so in the (amazingly unlikely) event of a dangerous fragment coming through, my eyes are still protected.
