M4 Airsoft Magazines
Airsoft: M4 AEG/Magazine question please help!!!!!!?
Okay for my M4 AEG should I get ten mid-cap (120 rds) magazines from AirsoftGI fo $65 or should I get one 5000 rd drum for $30 from AirsoftGI? Here is the downside to the drum: with only a container of 10,000 BBs I could only fill it up twice but the upside to the drum is: I would assume all 5000 rds would last in a 20-30 minute long war (provided I mostly shoot on semi-auto.) Here is the upside to the magazines: My container of 10,000 BBs wouldn’t deplete as fast. And the downside: I would spend more time reloading than I would be playing.
Tell me what you think.
If you’re then kind of player who has trouble making 5000 rounds last 30 minutes then midcaps definitely aren’t for you…
I wouldn’t get through ten 120 round mags in a full day’s playing.
It really comes down to your play style – if you’re someone who’s constantly got the trigger pulled on full auto, hosing everywhere in the hopes of hitting something then it’s a boxmag for you.
If your gun is capable of consistent accurate fire and you’re the kind of player who spends most of the day on semi, only firing when you’ve got a target firmly in your sights then you’re more of a midcap player.
If you don’t want the hassle of loading mags and in game mag changes go for the box.
If you want to use less ammo, not rattle everywhere you go and generally become a better player, use the mids.
There’s nothing like limited ammo for teaching a player the virtues of good aim and trigger discipline.
