Jg Airsoft G36c Review
Element vs. G&P Stubby Silencer (airsoft)?
I was planning on buying a silencer for my JG G36C airsoft rifle, and I heard a good review of the G&P stubby silencer on redwolfairsoft.com, but they sell it for $36 w/ shipping. I can get it on another site for just $20, but it’s called the Element stubby silencer, not the G&P. They look the same, but do they perform the same? Thanks for any help.
They will indeed perform the same (provided they’re both foam filled or not foam filled). The only major difference will be the finish, which is probably so similar it’s not worth worrying about. However, when contemplating getting a suppressor, consider this. Only a tiny puff of air leaves the barrel, causing little noise, while most of the noise comes from the gearbox, or more specifically the motor. When you shoot it, what do you hear? “Whirr-Chuck!” oughtta be about it. If you plant on running a longer inner barrel through it, or just using it for looks, go right ahead. If you actually want to quiet your gun, a suppressor is not the answer…
