I want to Join the Army, What Should I do?
I want to join the US Army, I’ve talked to many lies (recruiters) my grandpa calls them, I’m very smart in Computers, I’ve spent many of my high school and middle school life taking Computer Classes, Ranging from Web Design-Programming. Currently, Taking a Out of School class, Net Admin, to learn more about Networks and Network Security. I know, if I join the Army, and do 25B, I can make some good pay.
But, I also want to do straight Infantry, Don’t get the wrong idea, But I love guns and tactics and CQB. I’ve done Airsoft for the past 2 years, CQB style and woods, and I enjoy it. It’s something I want to do, But what Job can I do when i get out?
Having spent three years in the army in the infantry my advice to you has to be to go the computer route if you can. If your mental picture of what being in the infantry is like is a result of seeing movies like _Saving Private Ryan_ or _Blackhawk Down_ you may be in for a disappointment.
