Cheap Airsoft Aug
What Airsoft AEG should I get ?
I am looking for an AEG, I am stuck between an Pair of MP7′s http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-WELL-R4-MP7.htm
Or an AUG http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-AUG-448A.htm
Which should I get I just want an AEG that will be fun and Cheap, but kinda durable.
For a primary AEG, the AUG is a better choice because it is more versatile – the bullpup design gives good cqb ability and the longer barrel is formidable in the field / outdoor scenarios.
The MP7, for all intents and purposes, is an AEP and limited to sidearm / cqb only. I have one, and it has some limitations. Short barrel, low FPS (~240fps w/ .2g) to name a couple.
Then there is the QA of products between JG and WELL brands. JG is better, WELL is a bit rough around the edges. My MP7 is about a year old and already the selector switch has an issue with staying on safety – it just drops off into single fire when the safe mode is selected. Not really an issue but just an example of WELL having random gearbox issues.
The JG is the better choice in your case.
