should i join the army when i am older?
i am 14 and i think that the army or marines would be a career i would be both satisfied and proud to have. i liked to play war when i was young (literally all the time) and i love to play military video games and i like guns and shooting. i am a pretty good shot. the only thing is i am smart and dont know if the military would be a ‘ waste of my knowledge ‘. what is your opinions?

OMG please, don’t join. You like to “play” army? Really man, putting someone elses life in your hands is something you’ll never get used to. If you watch movies and TV and think “I can handle that,” you’re 100% wrong. My husband, being military himself, always said he couldn’t get over the ‘kids’ that joined up, went overseas, and then he’d find them crying behind a building because they wanted to go home. Nothing like intrusting your life to a kid who gets scared and wants to go home. For this reason, I truly believe we should raise the age limit for enlisting. Truly, nothing personal against those that get scared, it’s just, it’s war. What did you expect?
