What is this weapon? (Pics)?
What is the type of weapon that’s laid on the ground down the bottom left of this pic? Looks like an ordinary gun with something like a gas canister attached towards its back.

These arms have been discovered recently when the Sri Lankan armed forces overran a Tamil Tiger terrorist camp in the north of the country.
LOL – Paintball guns? You guys must be kidding!
These stuff were found in a terrorist camp, not an amusement park! There had been a sizable cache of other weapons there, like claymore mines, MPMGs and sniper rifles.
Yep, looks like paintball guns after all.
SSG/EMT nailed the model.
To be specific, they are Tippman A-5 paintball guns, they are capable of extremely rapid fire, and have a special feeder. You can also see the CO2 tanks on the back of them.
In front of the paintball guns are belts of what looks like .50 calaiber ammo, or Russion 12.5mm.
Many military and police units train with paintball, In short range training, it allows you to get hit and know you’ve been hit. We’ve used it in convoy ambush training. It really helps you perfect your cover techniques.
