CAN I GET A FELONY REDUCED TO A MISDORMEANER SO I CAN JOIN THE ARMY?
I have a 6 year old felony for possession of a firearm. now i didn’t know my rights at the time but the police violated the law. they pulled me over for not wearing a set belt. my license was legit and so was the car. still they proceeded to search the vehicle. they did not find anything so then they popped the trunk and found a handgun. i did not know that was an illegal search and i copped out to 1 year in prison. the only reason the gun was there in the first place is because i took it from a friend of mine who was about to do something dumb earlier that day. i want to join the army but now i’m fucked because of a dumb ass friend and crooked cops. now i’m no angle and i’m not playing victim. but looking at the facts to i have a case?
