Airsoft War In The Snow
Can i throw a hand warmer in an airsoft gun?
I am having an airsoft war in the snow tomorrow and i want my 8.4v to last longer than it would in cold weather, would it hurt my gun if i threw in a hand warmer right beside the battery?
It’s not the best idea to heat up a battery. It will greatly lower the battery’s life. If you’re playing in the snow the best thing you can do it stuff pieces of wool around your battery. Wool holds in heat, but not to the point of slowly cooking your battery. Now if you’re playing is subzero degree weather stuff wool around the battery then toss in a SMALL hand warmer on the outside of the wool. Make sure the hand warmer and battery do not have direct contact.
