Airsoft Vs Bb Accuracy
Airsoft Gun Ranges? SMG’s Vs. AR’s?
Does the length of the barrel affect how far the BB travels like real weapons? I was thinking of getting an G&G MP5A4 but it is a forest area I play in and was wondering if its worth the extra £15 for a G&G M4. Also would the barrel length affect the FPS and accuracy. And im not a cheap-o, I like MP5′s more than M4′s. 
Can suppressors act as a barrel extension? An MP5 isnt an MP5 without a suppressor 
Barrel length has practically no effect on either FPS or accuracy. Roughly speaking, an extra foot of barrel will make your grouping 2 inches tighter at 50m. Unlike with a real gun, you can’t rifle a bb barrel (rifling relies on the bullet expanding and being engraved, bb guns don’t produce the heat or the power to do this). Also a bb is a sphere to the CP is on the CM so there’s no turning effect so no point.
Suppressors can act as a barrel extension, but you need to buy a new barrel aswell (the point is just that you can have a longer barrel, as the suppressor hides the bit that would be poking out the front of the gun). But its airsoft so suppressors don’t work. Nice for the looks though.

P.S. if it’s the electric blowback G&G you’re looking at, steer clear. You can’t see the blowback when you’re firing (only people watching you notice), and it ruins the ROF.
