Airsoft Target System
I just bought an airsoft (JG m4a1) and it’s built in hop up gear is stuck…Is this normal for a brand new gun?
I just purchased a JG m4 carbine (from hitguns.com) and i has a built in adjustable hop up system.
BUT the hop up gear is almost non-adjustable! It’s a struggle to turn it and adjust the hop up.
Is this common for a brand new gun within the first week of buying?
It slightly became more movable as I lubed it. But it’s still a struggle, and it stops moving once I move the gear around completely. Is it supposed to stop like that? Or is it supposed to go all the way around many times?
And the gun STILL has too much backspin on it’s BB’s, causing the BB’s to fly right over the target.
i think this is normal. each of my airsoft guns (i have a few), when new, was fairly difficult to adjust the hop up, but over time they became easier. are u turning the nob (or sliding the tab) the right way? is the hop up all the way on or off?
