Airsoft Target Net
Why do people put netting over the end of their scope? Airsoft?
I have seen on T.V, forums, and in books that you should put netting on the end of your scope. what is the purpose of this. I just see it getting in the way when I am aiming at my target.
it’s to prevent light reflecting off of the lens and giving your position away… usually this is done by putting a device called a “killflash” on the end of the scope. Because it’s so close to the lens, you dob’t see it when looking through the scope…
On airsoft guns this has an added benefit of slowing down an incoming BB to prevent it from breaking the lens.
