Airsoft Sniper Spring Upgrade
If you upgrade a M14 Airsoft Rifle’s Spring, would you need to also upgrade the gearbox and/or more for it?
Im interested in purchasing a KART Full Metal EBR M14 Long RIS Custom Sniper Airsoft AEG, with a version 7 M14 gear box. this rifle shoots around 350-400 fps, and I’m not happy with the FPS nor the power of this rifle. So my question to you is, if i upgrade the Rifle’s spring, would i also need to upgrade the gearbox and/or anything like the bushings & bearings or the hop up or even the actual motor?
what fps are you going for? if you are looking at 450 and above it is highly recommended you upgrade everything in the gearbox. what i would get:
-high torque gears
-metal bushings
-metal spring guide
-polycarbonate piston/piston head
-super torque motor
-metal hop-up
also ur standard re-shim/re-lube
(maybe even a re-enforced gearbox shell)
