Converting a deactivated weapon into a working airsoft version?
There are guns I would absolutely love to have for airsoft like the FG42, MG42, PPSH, Bren/Type 99, Browning 30 cal, RPD, a high quality VZ Skorpion, etc. But I know of no existing ones yet other than expensive custom ones. I have heard of people turning deactivated weapons into airsoft versions and as far as getting the internals to work, I know what to do but I do not know how I would get the externals from scratch which is why I don’t make a custom one myself. Is converting deact. weapons into airsoft possible? Or is there a much better alternative for obtaining these guns for airsoft?
I have heard that AGM is currently working on an MG42 and if you have any more info on that then please share it, thank you
also, I know there are a few airsoft vz skorpions but they are all not that good as I would desire one with a little more power so it could hurt from far away so I could tell if I hit someone so they don’t cheat.

I know TM and Well both product a Vz. 61 Skorpion, and both of which work well. I’d suggest picking up the TM and swapping out all the internals *except the hop-up unit) for more powerful aftermarket ones. It uses AEP internals. But using it as a primary? Maybe if you’re inside a house.
