What is a good warranty for an airsoft gun?
I am considering buying a GB AK47 JG AK Tactical Airsoft Rifle AEG for $104.95. It has great reviews and is mostly metal BUT it is only a 30 day warranty.
ps: I’m a beginner at buying airsoft guns.
Most warranties are only for 30 days.
I know Echo 1 guns USUALLY offers a 60 day warranty and if you register the gun within a week of purchasing it, they’ll give you a full year.
But on average when buying from a retailer you’re looking at something of about 30-60 days.
A few of the more expensive higher end companies may offer 90 to 120 days.
Cheap guns usually have a 7-10 day warranty, if any at all.
Keep in mind that some companies warrantied time starts at different times. A few will start the day the item it mailed to you, but most start it the day it’s delivered to you or the day you leave the store with the item.
But I assure you a good friend of mine has the same gun you’re thinking of buying and it’s treated him well. He’s had it for about a year now and that gun’s been through hell and back… twice.
