M4 Replica Double Eagle M83 Airsoft Gun?
If you have this gun or know anything about this gun, please tell me how it is. I’m thinking of getting it. Most of the reviews online are positive. But I have one more question, where do you insert the BBs?
The M83 is a plastic gearbox airsoft gun, making it more of a “toy” than a “skirmish-ready airsoft weapon”. It is weak, mostly inaccurate after ~60 feet with basic .12g BB’s, and can break easily under normal, metal gearbox gun’s conditions, and spare parts for repair are out of the question. This gun is more of a toy that a kid would use to mow down a few old soda cans in the backyard in his/her spare time, definitely nothing you want to brandish at a 40+ populated airsoft field/arena. It is an OK gun for the price, but the best bang for your buck is something along the lines of the metal gearbox guns found in airsoft retailers.
The BB’s are fed through the magazines. When bought new in the box, the M83 has one magazine, that holds around 50 BB’s. When you fired all of the rounds, the magazine needs to be refilled or be taken out and add a filled spare magazine (not included, spare magazines costs around $6 to $10). Refilling an empty or low magazine can be easily done with a speed loader (new in box M83′s have one, spares cost $1 to $6).
