Airsoft Red Dot Scope
Wouldn’t a red-dot scope on an M16 be hard to use?
I’m thinking of buying an M16 airsoft rifle, and in all the pictures the scope is on the barrel, which if you know a M16 there’s that thing in front before the shoulder stock. So only those with experience from an M16, is it normal and easy to use the scope on the barrel or should I try for another gun?
Scope on the barrel?? I don’t really get what you’re saying by that, but I’ll continue… When you mount a scope on an M16/M4, it can either be mounted on a rail under the carry handle (if there is one) or you have to buy a separate rail mount that attaches to the carry handle. With that in mind, with that set up, a red dot is very easy to use and very helpful.
If you’re saying mount the scope on the RIS system (if there is one), then it would only be a problem if the carry handle was still on the gun. That is not an ideal way to mount a scope anyway. Cheers
