Airsoft Pistols Gas Co2
which is better regular co2 or green gas for an airsoft pistol?
i was wondering if co2 is better than a green gas pistol. i have questions like the price range, how much is in 1can of green gas and 1 cartridge of co2, how long will they last on how many shots u take, i know it depends on which type of pistol but i dont have 1 in mind. u know, just things i need to know about these 2 sources. just a pretty good estimate on the questions that i ask. please i would prefer some1 that has good experience with airsoft but any answer will help. thank you
They’re very similar as to operation and price, though I prefer GG. You can get 24 Ounce (1000mL) cans of Green Gas for $6-7. I’m not sure on prices of CO2 cartridges for airsoft guns, so maybe someone else could comment on that.
As far as economy goes, it really depends on your gun. If you use a blowback gun, you can expect to see your number of shots decrease significantly. Using a Non-blowback is best for gas (or CO2) economy. I have a NBB (non blowback) G17 that can get a few thousand shots from one “charge” of green gas. Again, I’m not experienced with CO2, so someone else would be able to give you comparisons from that side of the argument.
Also, Green Gas is Propane without the chemical that makes it smell like rotten eggs and a little bit of fragrance added in, not a type of CO2, for anyone confused about the two.
