You can buy an airsoft minigun from a few places, but keep in mind you’re going to spend at least $3000 on it, and it’s not going to be as useful as you might think. Basically, miniguns eat through ammo too fast to be useful, and on top of that they’re incredibly awkward and difficult to wield. The P3 (Piper’s Precision Products) airsoft M134 Minigun is run on batteries and external air; just as a random factoid, it’s also used by some police forces as a riot control device. The soon-to-be released Echo 1/CAW (Craft Apple Works) M134 Minigun will be run off of batteries alone, but won’t be any cheaper than the P3. Asahi miniguns are prone to breaking, and any other brands you might find are considered classics, and pretty rare.
For a cheap, but effective airsoft sniper rifle, look at either the JG Bar-10 or the UTG MK96.
Don’t misinterpret this, but it sounds like you’re just wanting to start out in airsoft; personally I recommend against getting a sniper rifle because you will be outgunned when your friends have the capability to fire in full-auto. You should look at getting an AEG, particularly if made by Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, JG, Echo 1, CYMA, DBoys, or some other company.
