Airsoft Kar98k Shells
what stops the bolt on the dboys kar98k airsoft gun?
I got the kar98k from my friend and every time i pull the bolt to eject the shell and it just slides right out of the gun. Can some body help me with this i will be so great fully thankful
I can tell you this:
-with real guns, bolts can slide out on bolt-action guns for cleaning purposes.. to remove them, you have to unlock them so they wont slide out on their own like your case. depending on the model and make of the gun, to unlock a bolt you have to depress an action(whether it be the trigger, a button, switch, idk..) and pull the bolt straight back, and out of the weapon. My guess is that this action is broken in some way and is allowing the bolt to come out freely without stopping it and keeping it in the gun. I would examine it very closely inside the ejection port and look for something out of the ordinary(like a snapped off piece of metal, a piece of metal thats been bent weird or filed down to a point where it can’t perform its task of keeping the bolt attached to the gun.) Sorry that this is a bit obvious, but I really can’t diagnose the problem nor attempt to fix it without actually seeing the rifle. If you can’t fix it, I would consider having the bolt permanently fixed to the gun or just leaving it so at least you can still just hold the gun and screw around with it.
