Airsoft Helmet Light
Best action Helmet camera?
Hey
I want to know which helmet camera is best for filming airsoft.
I have so far tried the ATC3k and the Tachyon XC 09 version. And have been a little disapointed with both of them.
They both really struggle with low light, a lot of my footage from indoors is just black. The sound quality is also very poor, the atc3k struggles to even pick up my voice from less than a metre away. The Tachyon is a little better, but still very very poor. Both these cameras cost below £125 new, so i appreciate that you cant expect a lot for that price.
So i want to know what alternatives would be good to look into.
Ideally the camera should be able to attach to a helmet, cope with low light conditions well and also have decent audio.

But just to make clear, I am prepared to spend more than what i have in the past!
Your budget won’t get you a better camera. The best ones are ones like the Contour or HERO models. The only other alternative is to use a pocket camcorder and affix it to you helmet. Or, use a video camera with an A/V Input and get an external spy cam for it. You’ll just have to put the main camera in a backpack or hip-pouch.
