Airsoft Glock 17 Spring
How do you up fps on gas airsoft glock 17?
I want to make the fps on my glock higher, I’ve heard that you can do stuff to the recoil spring and it apparently makes it fire harder? it shoots 275ish with stock parts, I’m looking for somewhere around 325fps. I’m looking to do something manually with the gun but if there are no options I could settle with buying some after market parts
There’s two ways – you can use a stronger gas or you can fit high flow valves into the mags, a stiffer recoil spring gives it more kick by bringing the slide forwards with more force.
I don’t know what G17 you’ve got, but my KSC G19 (just a smaller G17) gives ~340fps with 0.2g on propane (temperature was in the mid teens celsius). So if you’ve got a G17 with a metal slide, then run it on green/propane and it should give you about the power you want.
