How can I find my stolen airsoft guns?
Recently, on May 24, I had about $2,218 worth of airsoft guns, gear, and accessories stolen from my garage. Three KWA AEG’s were stolen, each with numerous parts and upgrades, along with a gun bag. I am not sure whether the criminals thought they were real guns or not, so I am unsure of what will happen to them. I am hoping they will appear somewhere online like eBay or Craigslist, but there’s no way of knowing.
I just want any kind of suggestion or idea on how I can get my stuff back. Please leave mature answers, thanks.
Step 1: DO NOT call your local law enforcement. They will blow you off. And you’ll go on record. You do not want this.
Step 2: Save up for a real gun (Maybe even a BB gun, just something that’ll be more intimidating that a wimpy little plastic gun that shoots plastic bullets)
Step 3: Patrol your neighborhood frequently. The thieves who stole your merchandise will most likely live closer to you than you think.
Step 4: Place an Ad on craigslist inquiring that you’d like to by air soft guns. Mention some specifics about the guns that were stolen from you but not everything that was stolen. The thieves will want to get rid of their hot merchandise quick. Say you’ll pay top dollar.
Step 5: When you get the call, pack your BB gun and meet the stolen weapon dealers in a remote area. It’d also be a good idea to have some backup. If you have a kid sister or brother, give them a low caliber scoped rifle and let them cover you from afar.
Step 6: Take what is rightfully yours.
