Airsoft Gearbox Repair
Echo 1 G36C version 3 gearbox.?
I have attempted to upgrade my Echo 1 G36Cs internals. I have failed. When attempting to open he gearbox, everything exploded. I was wondering if there is a guide to fixing/opening/how-everything-goes-together for the version 3 gearbox. I have tried Mechbox.com, but it seems that there site is currently down. If there are any other sites please tell me. Another helpful thing would be if you could point me in the direction of a Airsoft shop that can repair/upgrade Airsoft guns in the Florida area (Sorta close to Largo). Either one would be helpful, thank you very much.
mechbox is the place to go. They are pretty simple inside but then again I was able to keep the parts from flying everywhere the first time I opened one. You need to know how to shim. It will be much easier to put together if you can put a screwdriver through your spring guide. It is worth it to buy a new one if it isn’t open on the end.
