Airsoft G36c Spring
Airsoft G36C upgrades?
I have used my SRC G36C (gen 2) a few times, it’s a great airsoft gun, but its lacking a little bit on its range. I was thinking of getting a tight bore barrel, a 6.03mm madbull one, and maybe a more powerful spring to try to increase the range. It was firing at about 300fps when it was chrono’d at the weekend. I was wondering if anybody else had any other suggestions for some upgrades to mainly increase my range, and if possible my accuracy at range also.
As you mentioned, you want a stronger spring, probably a M130 or so. However, to run this spring without a noticeably rubbish rate of fire, you’ll also need to be running your gun on a 9.6V if you’re not already, and you might consider a high speed gear set (get the ARES one off actionhobbies if you do).
A tightbore barrel is also a nice idea. I’d recommend a longer one than the standard G36C barrel, so you’ll probably want a silencer so the inner barrel doesn’t stick out. A new hop up bucking might help if you notice the bullets are spinning up/down, but otherwise don’t bother.
