Airsoft Famas Electric
If my friends and I want to have an airsoft battle, what type of gun should I get?
I want to just get a pistol to start with cause I’m new to airsoft. For battles a lot of my friends don’t want to use to powerful ones cause one of them got a Famas that tore through a little girls cheek.
I’m pretty sure there are 3 types and there:
CO2
Spring
and Electric (where you have to charge the gun.)
I just want to know which type to get so that it won’t hurt people, but still strong enough. I was thinking Spring cause my friends have shot them at me and they don’t hurt, but people said they jam easily.
Just get a spring rifle. They are cheap and more fun then a pistol. My first gun was a M9 though but then moved up to an AEG and play regularly so the point of that mini story was to say that you should get a gun that wont break so you can give airsoft a chance if you decide to quit before you get your first AEG. ANYWAYS off topic back to the question of what type/model. I suggest that if you have the money ($40-$50) then get a cheap beginners rifle(electric) it will only be about 300FPS so thee is no cheek tearing ability (i suggest Airsplat for being the cheapest site i know). Dont get any CO2 or GreenGas guns because they are high maintenance. If you think a electric gun will be overpowered then get whatever anyone else has. Another suggestion is a mini electric (prob at sports authority) which are like $20 and good beginner guns also, they run on AA batteries so no charging. One last thing BBs for a spring pistol, mini electric, beginner electric, spring shotgun use .12 for anything of more power use a .2
