How long should i charge my AK SVD Dragunov AEG airsoft gun?
The battery is 1110 mah 1.2 volts, and the output on the charger is 8.4v with 250mA P

yeah i looked closer on the battery and it says Ni-MH
oh yeah you are right there are 7(seven) 1.2 volt batteries

To figure out how long to charge a battery for:
(battery capacity (battery’s mAh rating)/charger output (mA – usually written on the charger)) x 1.4(for NiCad batteries, 1.5 for NiMh batteries) = time (in hours).
Your battery is 1100mAh and your charger is 250mA, so it’s;
(1100/250) x 1.5 (I’ll assume it’s NiMH cos of its mAh)
Thats 4.4 x 1.5 = 6.6
Note that the result in decimal, so 6.6 hours is 6 hours and 36 minutes.
The 1.4/1.5x multiplier is to account for the natural resistance of the battery’s cells. If you don’t use it you won’t get a full charge!
Also, your battery isn’t 1.2v – each cell is 1.2v. Multiply the number of cells by 1.2 to get the voltage (7 cells is 8.4v and 8 cells is 9.6v)…
