Airsoft Ak74u Blowback
another airsoft AEG or a gas blowback pistol?
right now i have $215 to spend on evike… but only on evike… and i already own a crossman ak74u. its a decent gun i guess, it works fine and shoots far and hard but it looks pad and its basically all plastic. should i get a CYMA thompson for $210 or should i get a kwa m9 ptp tactical which is gas blowback for $165 and bbs and a holster…

Try something new and go for the KWA M9. KWAs are built very nicely, although a lot of their mags are proprietary and are expensive (unless you took advantage of their Operation: Free Fall, like I did – expired promotion, btw). It’s something new from the AEGs and you won’t regret it.
ON THE OTHER HAND, if your Crosman AK74u breaks on you (which will eventually), invest your money into a G&G or ICS Plastic Sportline. CYMAs are okay Chinese clones, but G&G/ICS are better quality Taiwanese guns which won’t break on you any time soon. Eventually it will be time to ditch the AK74u..
