Why does my G&g Combat Machines M4 Airsoft AEG Gun lock up after shooting 10 shots rapidly with semi-automatic?
After I shoot about 10 shots fast on semi auto it locks up and I have to put it on auto and shoot before i can get it to unlock and shoot semi again. Why does it do this?
I really don’t know why myself, but what I think is happening is that in the gearbox, when you shoot in semi-auto, the spring compresses, but then resets all in one movement.
When you shoot fast in semi-auto, I think the spring gets stuck, so when you change it to full auto and shoot the trigger, the spring compresses, then when you shoot the next shot, it resets again.
Thats my hypothesis, but I havn’t tested it yet.
